YANG Jinsong was born in 1971, in Chongqing, China, where he teaches at the Sichuan Fine Arts Academy. He lives and works in Chongqing and Beijing. YANG’s vivid and expressively painted canvases protest a world of corruption, consumer waste and government restrictions on free speech.
