Renee Magnanti is a New York based artist. She received her B.F.A. in painting and printmaking from SUNY at Buffalo, NY and M.F.A from Tulane University.Magnanti has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally in Korea, China, Bulgaria, Greece and London. Some prestigious exhibitions have included the 10th GwangHwaMun International Art Festival at Sejong Cultural Center in Korea, Sofia International Paper Art Bienalle 2013 in Bulgaria, and a solo exhibition titled Carved Histories at BCB Art in Hudson, New York.In 2014 she participated in ART MORA the residency program at Coohaus Art. She has also completed an artist residency at Olive Press Residency in Dromonero, Crete, Greece in the same year. She has been a Grant Nominee for SARF (Smithsonian Artist Research Foundation) in 2010 and 2014. Her artwork is held in collections at Amarillo Museum of Art, Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, and SUNY at Buffalo among others.
