Mia Ćuk

She graduated from the Academy of Arts University of Novi Sad (Serbia) in 2011, obtaining a diploma in Fine Arts. In 2013 she earned a Master’s degree with distinction in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster in London. She has worked across a variety of photographic and curatorial projects some of which include Material Light, Project Space Gallery London and Belgrade Cultural Centre (co-curator, 2015), The One Who Became the Color on a Flag, Anya and Andrew Shiva Gallery, New York, The Imaginary Museum: Art Library as Archive, Leeds College of Art, UK, Light Chronicles artist residency at the Obsolete Studios, Kent, and has been shortlisted for Dimitrije Bašićević Mangelos award for a prominent young visual artist in Serbia in 2015. In the past  she has been working as a teaching assistant in photography at the University of Westminster and is currently lecturing at the Academy of Arts University of Novi Sad.
