Lydia Venieri is a Greek artist. She born in Athens, Greece and moved to works in New York. She Studied at the Ecole Nationale, Superieure des Beaux Arts. She is well known for evocative sculpture installations which bridge mythology with current events combined humor with self-reflection on human conditions in our times. She emphasized that dreams reinforce reality and reality reinforce dreams. The provocative visualizations of the universe of Venieri’s works offer a Potnian statement about the world in flux in which we live. Her art works begin to show since from 1983,Galeire Bernanos, Paris as both solo and group exhibition. She has had many exhibitions around the world. She currently shows withTokyo Terra in Japan, Quang in Paris, Stux Gallery in New York, and The Blender Gallery in Athens.
