Lucy Fradkin is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including a Space Program Grant from the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation (2011), a Pollock-Krasner Grant (2009), an Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation Grant (2007) and two Fellowships in Drawing/Works on Paper from the New York Foundation for the Arts (2005, 1995). She has exhibited nationally and internationally at venues which include the Smithsonian Museum National Portrait Gallery, The Brooklyn Museum, The Queens Museum, PS 1, The Islip Museum, The Brattleboro Museum, The American Academy in Rome, The Biennale di Arte Contemporanea di Porto Ercole, Italia and the Nancy Margolis Gallery in the Chelsea Art District of New York City. Fradkin’s work has been reviewed in publications including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Art New England, Exibart and Siglo 21.
