I make images, often in a narrative, sequential form, based on memories and feelings.
Many works involve family issues, relationships, and psychological difficulties. Reflecting
past experiences and reconstructing them into stories is a means of understanding what
happened and how I reacted to them. In recent years, printmaking media and animation
have attracted me because I can reproduce multiple images in the same way the memories
have come back to me and left emotional impressions many times, but with slight changes.
I am interested in seeing how images and memories change over time as I seek different
perspectives.
