Jonathan Santlofer

Jonathan Santlofer is the author of 5 crime fiction novels including the bestselling THE DEATH ARTIST and the Nero Award winning ANATOMY OF FEAR. He is the co-author, contributor & illustrator of THE DARK END OF THE STREET, editor/contributor of LA NOIRE: THE COLLECTED STORIES, THE MARIJUANA CHRONICLES, and the NY Times bestselling serial novel INHERIT THE DEAD. His stories have been included in Ellery Queen Magazine, The Strand, and numerous anthologies and collections. Also an artist, Santlofer is the recipient of 2 National Endowment for the Arts Painting grants, has been a Visiting Artist at the American Academy In Rome, the Vermont Studio Center and serves on the board of Yaddo, the oldest arts community in the U.S. His artwork is in such collections as the Metropolitan Museum of Art NY, Newark Museum NJ, Art Institute of Chicago, Chase Manhattan Bank, IBM, and more. Santlofer has been the subject of a Sunday NY Times Magazine “Questions For” column. His artwork and writing have been written about and reviewed extensively.
