Igor Vidor

Igor Vidor was born in 1985, São Paulo. After a brief career as a professional athlete, the artist spent the last years driven by experiences on body and sport studies as a means of investigating the relationship between body, social and historical aspects. His work includes collections such as the Museum of Art of Rio and Itaú Cultural Institute. In 2016 he was the first Brazilian invited to participate at the International Fellowship Programme by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Seoul – MMCA. Currently self-exiled in Germany due to life threats. Vidor is represented by Luciana Caravello Gallery, Brazil, and Galeria Leme, Brazil.
