Born in Seoul. I hold a BA, an MFA from The Slade School of fine Art and recently earned MA from Columbia University. After obtaining MFA, I taught various visual art courses as well as theory courses at universities and colleges for seven years in Korea. My art is an intersection among the artwork, the environment, and the viewer, which I explore in various media. I exhibited internationally and my works are included in major collections such as Seoul Municipal Museum. My recent awards include “Times Square Midnight Moment July viewing program”, annual juried exhibition entitled ‘Going Green’ in conjunction with Queens Art Express in New York, “Ways of Seeing” at 3-D sculpture park in Verbier, Switzerland and solo show includes Art side Gallery in Seoul. My special projects include a huge eco-art project, sponsored by Seoul Metropolitan museum.
