He was born in Giannena in 1937. He originally studied sculpture at Thanasis Apartis workshop and then painting near Giannis Moralis at the School of Fine Arts. He also studied stage-designing and decor. Between 1967 and 1975 he lives and works in Europe. He has been a founding member of the engraving team and is a member of the Greek Visual Arts Chamber. His works can be found in museums and galleries (National Gallery, Vorre Museum, Contemporary Art Museum –Andros, Athens Municipal Gallery, National Bank of Greece, Rhodes Municipal Gallery, Heraklion etc) as well as private collections in Greece, Europe, America and Japan.
