Aristides Logothetis

Born in Athens, Greece, Aristides Logothetis lives and works in The Bronx, New York. Throughout the years, Logothetis had numerous solo exhibitions and group shows, among them the Bronx Museum, Main Window in Dumbo, Brooklyn, the 2015 Mykonos Bienalle, The Metropolitan Museum, Duke University, Cue Art Foundation, Longwood Arts Project, and Lehman College and many more. In 2016 he was resident artist at (Re)Create Italy, and previously at Cue Art Foundation in New York City, Schloss Buchsenhausen in Innsbruck, Austria, and Fort George, in Jamaica. He is the recipient of the 2016 and the 2005 BRIO Award as well as an LEQSF Fellowship. His work resides in collections around the world. In addition,

In addition, Logothetis is the founder of ARCAthens and currently its Executive Director. He has curated several landmark exhibitions; founded and directed Gallery Schmallery in Boston; worked as consultant and instructor in university programs; founded the Young Artists Placement Program in New York City public schools; and has been a juror in numerous competitions and residency programs.
